Choice of Insurance
We obtained an alternative insurance choice for our members where there was only a single provider at the time. In doing so, we were able to obtain "occurrence based" coverage instead of "term based" as the new provider was willing to provide a broader range of coverage options.
Safeguarding of Private Financial Data
We obtained legal counsel that was able to keep our members' private financial information for foster care providers from the Ministry of Children and Youth Services
Commission to Promote Sustainable Child Welfare
We represented our members in the Commission to Promote Sustainable Child Welfare.
Child Welfare Conferences
Over the past decade since we have been in service of our members, we have organized four major child welfare conferences that have been attended by fellow operators, Children's Aid workers and managers, MCYS personnel, speakers from across the child welfare sector and delegates from the communities.
